Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure patient safety by decontaminating and sterilizing surgical instruments with meticulous attention to aseptic technique.

You will rotate through decontamination, sterilization, and assembly, while supporting recordkeeping, inventory, and supply management in a fast-paced hospital setting. Prior CRCST/CSPDT certification and 1 year of related work experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related work experience demonstrated in sterile processing.
• Current CRCST certification by HSPA at hire or within 6 months of hire; OR CSPDT certification by CBSP.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following protocols.
• Inspect, assemble, and package instruments, trays, and packs per procedures.
• Assist with recordkeeping, inventory, and equipment monitoring; report issues and dispense supplies.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to health and safety procedures.
