Job summary

SpecialtyCare is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies. You will ensure infection control practices and compliance with regulatory standards while supporting on-time service delivery.

The successful candidate will have aseptic technique knowledge, sterilization skills, and ideally CRCST or CBSPD certification, with preferred but not mandatory prior sterile processing experience.

Qualifications

• Must have aseptic technique knowledge, sterilization methods and infection control requirements.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification is required.
• Previous experience in sterile processing is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to quality and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process and sterilize supplies and equipment.
• Follow infection control practices and regulatory standards.
• Assemble instrument trays and packs according to protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation before and after sterilization.
• Load and operate autoclaves with correct time/temperature settings.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of sterilized items.
• Provide support as needed to ensure on-time service delivery.
