Job summary

McLaren Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician responsible for decontamination through set assembly and sterilization, with duties potentially including preparation of surgical case carts and materials management depending on the clinical setting.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of Sterile Processing experience or a college-level course in Sterile Processing; preferred candidates may have 1–2 years of additional training.

Qualifications

• 6 months work experience in a Sterile Processing Department or as a Surgical Scrub Technician OR completion of a college-level course in Sterile Processing.
• One to two years of formal education or training beyond High School in Sterile Processing is preferred.
