McLaren Health Care is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, inspection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and devices. The role supports OR staff and ensures proper documentation and handling of sterile supplies.
The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with at least 6 months in a Sterile Processing environment or completion of a relevant college course.

Hours per biweekly pay period: 80
Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of the role include all aspects of processing; decontamination through set assembly, and sterilization.Dependent on the clinical setting; preparation of surgical case carts and materials management may be expectations of the role.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
6 months work experience in a Sterile Processing Department or as a Surgical Scrub Technician OR completion of a college-level course in Sterile Processing
Preferred:
One to two years of formal education or training beyond High School in Post –High school course in Sterile Processing
