Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Clerk to maintain instruments and sterile supplies for the surgical team. You will handle preparation, sterilization, disinfection, and tracking of equipment to ensure patient safety and efficiency in the operating setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of sterilization technologies, and experience with instrument processing. Training may be provided for cross-functional duties and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sterilization and high-level disinfection technologies.
• Ability to follow sterile technique procedures and safety standards.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain instruments and equipment in optimal condition.
• Prepare instrumentation and sterile supplies for the surgical patient.
• Perform cleaning, wrapping, sterilizing, and disinfection per policy.
• Assist with inventory management and supply purchasing as directed.
