Job summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech III at Oro Valley Surgical Suites to ensure sterile instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for operating room use.

The role supports surgical teams by preparing trays, maintaining inventory, and following infection control protocols in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. Knowledge of sterilizers and OR instrumentation is required; high school diploma is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience is expected.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions quickly when needed.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
