Job summary

BMCHS is seeking a CPD Technician II to perform decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of medical supplies. You will apply microbiology knowledge, manage case carts, inventory, and par levels for ORs, and assist with patient equipment handling and junior tech training.

This role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification, at least one year of related experience, and availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Minimum one year experience in cleaning, decontaminating, packing, and storing sterile instruments.
• Strong English communication and ability to use medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, package, sterilize, and distribute medical supplies.
• Maintain case carts, inventory, and par levels for operating rooms.
• Assist with training junior technicians and on-call rotations as needed.
• Handle delivery, retrieval, and re-assembly of patient equipment for Nursing services.
