Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of related work experience required.
• Must obtain a CPD certification from HSPA or CBSPD within one year of hire and maintain for employment.
• Basic familiarity with computers; ability to navigate web-based applications.
• Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembles specialty case carts as pick lists require, sends completed case carts to the OR, and returns unused supplies from the OR to proper inventory.
• Monitors quality assurance of all items ready for sterilization for correct identifications and packaging to ensure proper sterilization.
• Assembles instrumentation for sterilization following the set/count instruction sheet and inspects for function and cleanliness.
• Returns sterile supplies to the correct storage space and supports CPD operations as needed.
• Maintains adequate supply levels and monitors all sterilization processes affecting sterility and traceability.
