Job summary

Onyx and Pearl Surgical Suites is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies for surgery cases.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and knowledge of sterilizers. CRCST/CSPDT certification is preferred, with about six months of experience being advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Six months of experience preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands steam/gravity sterilizer operation.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.

Onyx and Pearl Surgical Suites is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Our fast-paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
