Job summary

Onyx and Pearl Surgical Suites is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain all surgical instrumentation and prepare supplies for surgery cases. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have strong computer skills, familiarity with sterilizers, and OR instrumentation knowledge, with CRCST/CSPDT preferences and limited prior experience welcome.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Six months of experience, preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.

Onyx and Pearl Surgical Suites is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. Our fast-paced ASCis committed to producing the highest quality work and experience forpatients and their families.

Job Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Computer skills, required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
• Six months of experience, preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
• Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
