Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech at SurgCenter Pima Crossing. The role focuses on maintaining and preparing all surgical instruments for procedures, ensuring sterility and readiness for OR teams.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, and preferably a Sterile Process Certification. Knowledge of sterilizers, OR instrumentation, and medical terminology is beneficial.

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent


• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience


• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred


• Experience with all types of sterilizers


• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures


• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items


• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
