Job summary

ST. CHARLES HEALTH SYSTEM in Bend, OR, and Redmond, OR is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to assemble case carts, clean and sterilize instruments, and distribute equipment for OR procedures.

Required: High school diploma or GED. Preferred: sterile processing experience. Certification in CRCST or SPD within 18 months of hire, with evening/night shift differentials and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in sterile processing, health care materials management, operating room and/or patient care.
• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Certification in CRCST or SPD within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assembles case carts for surgeries and prepares instruments for use.
• Cleans, decontaminates, and sterilizes instruments and supplies.
• Maintains safe handling and proper storage of equipment.
• Operates sterilization equipment and supports department inventory.
