Responsibilities

• Collects all used instruments throughout the institution for sterilization.
• Demonstrates correct decontamination procedures for all instrumentation.
• Assembles instrument sets and wraps for sterilization.
• Packages instruments in peel-packs with correct labeling and sealing.
• Performs sterilization procedures for different instrumentation types.
• Ensures surgical sets are complete according to scheduled procedures.
