Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a leading healthcare organization in Helena, MT to recruit a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician. You will decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize medical supplies and endoscopes per infection control standards, supporting hospital departments and patient care with accuracy and empathy.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Certification preferred or eligible to obtain within 18 months of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and equipment nomenclature beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize medical supplies, equipment, and endoscopes.
• Follow infection control, cleaning, and sterilization procedures.
• Support daily departmental operations.
• Manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stressful situations.
• Collaborate with hospital departments and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Adapt to new procedures and learn assigned duties.
• Apply knowledge of medical terminology and equipment.
• Use basic computer skills.
