Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Sterile Reprocessing Tech to join our team in a hospital setting. The role focuses on delivering clean, properly packaged sterile instruments and supplies, and assembling instrument sets and trays according to validated procedures.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, a Sterile Reprocessing certification (CBSPD/CRCST/CSPDT), and ideally one year of hospital experience. Schedule typically 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department experience preferred.
• Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification (CBSPD/CRCST/CSPDT) required.
• Ability to complete skills validation and competency testing.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.
