Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician in Huntersville, NC to provide clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies for patient care. This part-time role operates during daytime hours at Presbyterian Physicians Plaza ASC, with no holiday, weekend, or night requirements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and ideally 1 year of hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department experience. CBSPD/CRCST/CSPDT certification is required by the department.

What We Offer

Responsible for providing clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual customer needs.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Sterile processing tech certification, preferred. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competencytesting. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology.
