Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department on the Downtown Jacksonville campus. This full-time night shift runs Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., and supports surgical services.

You will decontaminate, sterilize, inspect, assemble instrument trays, and ensure instruments are ready for patient care while following protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Decontaminate, sterilize, inspect, assemble instrument trays and linen for sterilization.
• Operate sterilization equipment following established protocols.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect, assemble, and wrap instrument trays and linen for sterilization
• Select appropriate supplies and sterilization methods

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our Sterile Processing Department at our Downtown Jacksonville campus. This is a full-time night shift position, working Monday through Friday, 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting surgical services by ensuring instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, assembled, and available for patient care.
