Job summary

Surgical Institute of Reading is seeking a full-time Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and prepare supplies for procedures at our Reading, PA facility.

You will join a team focused on infection control, patient safety, and efficient surgical support in a high-volume environment with five ORs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
