Westminster Surgery Center in Westminster, MD is seeking a Full Time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. This role cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies for surgery cases.

Experience in Orthopedics preferred; we offer competitive wages and a full benefits package as part of USPI.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification Program.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.
• Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians

Pay Range: Min: $20.58 to Max: $28.42/hour

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
