Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Job Type: Contract

Location: Seattle, WA 98104

Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Rate: Starting at $35.00/hourly

Job Responsibilities

• Assembling Surgical Instruments: Inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments.
• Working in Decontamination: Clean and decontaminate surgical instruments using appropriate methods.
• Operating Steam and STERRAD Sterilizers: Operate sterilizers and monitor sterilization cycles.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Quality Control: Perform quality checks on sterilized instruments.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with policies and maintain documentation.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certification in sterile processing preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in sterile processing or a related field is beneficial.
• Knowledge: Understanding of sterilization techniques, infection control, and medical terminology.
