Job summary

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians for a 13-week contract assignment at nationwide locations. Roles include evenings/nights/days with 5x8-hour shifts and 9 openings across States.

Minimum 1–3 years of Sterile Processing experience is required, plus Medivator experience. CBSPD or CRCST certification accepted; teaching hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of Sterile Processing experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience in Trauma and teaching hospital environments preferred.
• CBSPD or CRCST certification accepted.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel contract across nationwide locations.
• Perform decontamination, instrument assembly and sterile storage.
• Operate Medivator and other sterilization equipment; ensure strict HLD standards.

Position Overview

Ambe Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians (SPTs) for a 13-week contract assignment at nationwide.

This is a busy Level I Trauma facility requiring experienced SPTs with strong knowledge across sterile processing functions and experience working in a comparable hospital environment.

Schedule

• Evenings / Nights / Days all shifts are available
• Occasional scheduled holidays
• Floating may be required between OSU locations.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of Sterile Processing experience – required
• Teaching hospital experience – required
• Trauma Level II experience – required
• Trauma Level I experience – preferred
• Community hospital experience – preferred
• Prior travel experience is not required
• Medivator experience – required
• CBSPD or CRCST certification accepted.

Experience with:

• Decontamination of drills, Da Vinci equipment, scopes and other instruments
• Instrument assembly across multiple service lines
• Trauma, loaner instruments and peel packaging
• Steam and STERRAD sterilization
• High-Level Disinfection (HLD)
