Description:We are seeking experienced candidates for the Sterile Processing Technician role.Candidates should have three years of experience in sterile processing.Previous travel experience is needed.The technician will be responsible for the decontamination of all items including drills, scopes, and assembly of instruments across all service lines.This position involves the sterilization process using Sterrad and steam methods.Experience with high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing is required.The technician should also have experience in sterile storage and liaison roles with operating rooms.Candidates will utilize the Censitrac tracking system for instrument tracking.Successful candidates must be flexible with their scheduling, which includes rotating weekends and holidays.The role requires ensuring all instruments and equipment sterilized and functioning properly to prevent infections.This technician will serve as a clinical liaison between departments to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across various sites.
