Contract Length: 13 weeks / 91 days

Seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician Lead to oversee daily sterile processing operations and support department workflow in a high-acuity Level I Trauma and teaching hospital environment.
The SPT Lead will coordinate the decontamination, preparation, assembly, sterilization, packaging, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies while ensuring quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and proper instrument functionality.
An ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Sterile Processing experience with previous Lead/Charge experience in a Level I Trauma Center, along with strong hands‑on expertise in Censitrac, Da Vinci robotics, surgical drills, flexible scopes, HLD, steam sterilization, Sterrad, Steris, IUSS, complex tray assembly, loaner instrumentation, and high-volume surgical case support. The candidate must hold an active HSPA/IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification and be comfortable mentoring staff and coordinating daily SPD workflow.
