Job summary

Leonardtown Surgery Center is part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI) and is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prepare supplies for surgery cases.

Position requires weekdays only with no holidays, weekends, nights or calls, and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D coverage, disability coverage, 401(k) and paid holidays/vacation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed

Pay Range: Min $20.58 to Max $25.21. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
