Job summary

Leonardtown Surgery Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies and instruments for surgery cases. The role operates on weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, nights or on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

Pay Range

Min $20.58 to Max $29.84. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
