Job summary

Providence Regional Medical Center Everett is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to prepare, package, and sterilize reusable medical supplies and linens used throughout the facility. The role includes cleaning, disinfecting, inspecting, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of sterile processing experience in a hospital setting and relevant central services training, with certifications within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician (within 1 year of hire) or equivalent.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (within 1 year of hire) or equivalent.
• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.

Required Qualifications

• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or


• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution


• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.


• 1 year Prior Sterile Processing Tech experience in a hospital setting.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
