Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, assemble, sterilize, store and distribute reusable medical devices for patient care. You will also assemble and dispatch surgical case carts based on physician preference cards, and maintain inventory with accuracy.

The role requires 6 to 12 months of sterile processing experience (CRCST or CER preferred), a high school diploma, and availability for the 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 months of practical application experience gained on the job in sterile processing.
• Sterile processing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates and cleans reusable equipment/instruments according to OSHA standards.
• Assembles, sterilizes, stores and distributes medical devices for patient care.
• Assembles and dispatches surgical case carts based on physician preference cards.
• Maintains accurate inventories and supports PAR level decisions.
