CHRISTUS Health in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking staff to decontaminate, clean, process, assemble, sterilize, store and distribute reusable medical devices and supplies for patient care. You will assemble and dispatch surgical case carts and maintain accurate inventories under OSHA and departmental standards.

The role requires 6–12 months of sterile processing experience, with preferred CER/CRCST certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 to 12 months of practical sterile processing experience on the job.
• Sterile processing experience preferred.
• HSPA CER or CRCST certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Decontaminates and cleans reusable equipment/instruments in accordance with departmental and OSHA standards.
• Assembles, sterilizes, stores and distributes medical devices and supplies for patient care.
• Handles surgical case carts based on physician preference cards and dispatches as needed.
• Performs physical inventories of floor stock and SPD, providing input on PAR levels.
• Operates inventory control devices and programs (Meditech).
• Communicates effectively with inter/intradepartmental associates.
• Adapts procedures to meet population-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
