CHRISTUS Health in Texas is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, assemble, sterilize and distribute reusable medical devices used in patient care. The role requires assembling and dispatching surgical case carts and maintaining inventory control.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 months of sterile processing experience, with High School Diploma preferred, and certification such as HSPA CER or CRCST preferred. Work hours are 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM; this is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 months of practical application experience in sterile processing
• Experience in sterile processing preferred
• HSPA CER or CRCST certification preferred

Responsabilités

• Decontaminates and cleans reusable equipment/instruments according to departmental standards
• Assembles, sterilizes, stores and distributes medical devices for patient care
• Organizes and dispatches surgical case carts based on physician preference cards
• Performs physical inventories of floor stock and SPD, monitors PAR levels
• Operates inventory control systems and communicates across departments
