Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Instrument Technician in Sterile Processing for a 13-week contract in Cumming, GA. The role runs 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with 36 scheduled hours per week and three shifts weekly.

You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments, maintain records, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely instrument availability while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing role.
• Preferred CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT certifications.
• Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).

Job Description

The Instrument Technician in Sterile Processing is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards to ensure a sterile environment for patient care.
