Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Instrument Technician in Sterile Processing for a 13-week contract in Cumming, GA. The role runs 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with 36 scheduled hours per week and three shifts weekly.

You will decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments, maintain records, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely instrument availability while upholding infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing role.
• Preferred CRCST, CSPDT, or CASSPT certifications.
• Must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments.
• Utilize sterilization equipment according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely availability of instruments.
• Follow infection control practices and safety regulations.
