Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, packaging, processing, and sterilization of instruments for the operating room and other departments in a compliant and safe manner.

Under supervision, you will ensure patient safety and support clinical operations through accurate sterile reprocessing, with required certification and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Approved Sterile Processing Tech Program.
• Certification through CRCST - HSPA or CBSPD is required.
• Minimum of one year of sterile processing experience in hospital or surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, process, and sterilize instruments used in operating rooms and other departments.
• Support physicians and surgical teams by ensuring timely and accurate sterile reprocessing while adhering to policies and regulations.
