Insight Institute of Neuroscience & Neurosurgery (IINN) seeks a meticulous Sterile Processing Technician to support its surgical team. You will handle instrument decontamination, sterilization, and case preparation with a strong focus on infection control.

The role emphasizes reliable attendance, ability to work under pressure, and strict adherence to PPE and safety procedures. The schedule will primarily cover afternoon and evening shifts, with occasional longer hours based on surgical needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; further degrees preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certification would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to standard precautions and use of PPE.
• Demonstrates knowledge of equipment, instruments, procedures and supplies used in the operating room.
• Serves as a resource for sterilization, decontamination, case preparation and surgical instrumentation.
• Demonstrates knowledge of aseptic technique principles and practices.
• Ability to perform under pressure with patience, tact and endurance.
• Other duties as assigned.
