Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in Sterile Processing or related vocational/technical training.
• Certification requirements: CBSPD or CRCST within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical instrument sets and ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Follow safety and infection control guidelines; operate washers, ultrasonic cleaners and disinfectors.
• Support Case Carts and Sterile Core areas; respond to urgent requests.
• Perform decontamination, cleaning, sterilization and processing per policy.
• Document loads and maintain quality assurance.
