Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Certified Ambulatory Instrument Processing Technician to join our team. The role covers decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments, plus ordering surgical supplies and assembling case picks.

The technician will coordinate instrument repair as needed and work at Saint Paul and Woodbury centers. The position is a union 1.0 FTE with day shifts on weekdays, no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sterilization and aseptic techniques.
• Understanding decontamination, preparation, packing, and sterilizing of equipment and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with surgical procedures and instrumentation.
• Awareness of surgical supplies and Materials Management in Surgery Center context.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization tasks and ensure aseptic processing of instruments.
• Assist with decontamination, assembly, and packing of instrument sets.
• Coordinate repair of surgical instruments and manage supply ordering as needed.
