Job summary

OrthoNebraska in Missouri is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support the SPD department. The incumbent will decontaminate, inspect, package and autoclave instrument sets to provide sterile equipment for the surgical team, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met.

Hours are Mon–Fri, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and Sterile Processing Certification is preferred. Prior 1+ year of surgical experience is valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Disinfection.
• Preparation and Sterilization.
• Keeps accurate records of sterilization processes to comply with federal and other external regulations by following departmental policies and procedures.
• Carefully and properly handles sterilized items to ensure sterility is maintained.
• Maintains professional appearance, behavior and work environment.
