University Health in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join the SPD. You will clean, decontaminate, and sterilize instruments, prep surgical carts, and manage inventory to support the surgical teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with Central Service or Instrument Tech certification/program or Surgical Tech program graduate; 5+ years in instrument tech in OR considered strong. Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, 40 hours weekly.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Central Service or Instrument Tech certification/program preferred.
• Surgical Tech program graduate welcome.
• 5+ years of hands-on instrument tech experience in the Operating Room.

Responsabilidades

• You’re the go-to expert for cleaning, decontaminating, and sterilizing surgical instruments—aka, the MVP of clean!
• Prep and pack surgical case carts like a pro—if it’s needed in the OR, you’ve got it ready.
• Roll up those sleeves! You’ll handle the heavy lifting: receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment.
• Keep things organized and on track with data entry and inventory control.
• Be a team player who can jump into any area of SPD and make things happen.
