Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• Completion of a surgical instrument technician program or two years surgical instrument experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers case carts and uses aseptic technique.
• Decontaminates surgical instruments, power equipment, flexible endoscopes and other medical devices.
• Assembles, packages and labels surgical services and hospital instrumentation for sterilization.
• Answers telephone, fills orders, and stocks supplies.
• Utilizes high/low temp sterilization and disinfection processes.
