Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Gouverneur, NY seeks a Sterile Processing Tech in the Sterile Processing department. The role prepares and maintains sterile instrumentation and follows guidance of the Central Supply Supervisor to ensure safety and patient care.

Responsibilities include decontamination, preparation, sterilization, distribution of instruments to the OR and other areas; manage sterile and non-sterile supplies; and schedule nursing staff to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CBSPD or CRCST certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, preparation, sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation to the OR and other areas.
• Maintain and control sterile and non-sterile supplies and address equipment/process issues with records.
• Work independently and schedule nursing staff to meet deadlines.
