IRMC in Indiana, PA is seeking a central processing technician to decontaminate and prepare instruments for sterilization. You will perform high-level disinfection, run test strips, document results, and wrap/pack instruments for storage or delivery.

You will also transfer processed items to Storeroom, replenish equipment on nursing units, refurbish specialty carts, and maintain current knowledge of sterilization processes. Day and evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication with OR staff and healthcare team.
• Must perform with precision and accuracy in all areas.

Responsabilités

• Receive and decontaminate items for processing.
• Perform high-level disinfection of non-sterilized items.
• Run machine test strips for instrument validation and document results.
• Wrap, peel-pack and store instrumentation for sterilization.
• Deliver processed items to Storeroom/Outreach and nursing units.
