Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Full-time Central Service Technician for the evening shift. You will decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize instruments and supplies used for patient care and rotate weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities include dispensing supplies per requests, prioritizing emergencies, and occasionally assisting with Central Service/Linen/Equipment Control. Must have a high school diploma; CRCST/CSPDT credentials or progression toward credentials is required or helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification is preferred; equivalent credentials accepted.
• Experience: 1 year as central service technician within the past four years prior to 1/1/2015; or 18 months to obtain CRCST/CSPDT credential.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of supplies/equipment.
• Dispense products per verbal, written, or telephone requisitions; prioritize emergency requests.
• Assist with Central Service/Linen/Equipment Control as needed.
