Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support our operating rooms and hospital services. Under supervision, you will sterilize, reprocess, and wrap equipment, maintain clean records, and assist with instrument logistics in OR, L&D, and other units.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Sterile Processing Certification required.
• Must be able to read, write and follow verbal or written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, reprocess, and wrap all equipment for Operating Room, Labor & Delivery, Med Surg units, Endo Diagnostic Lab, Emergency Room, Urgent Care facilities and physician practices.
• Document on sterilization records
• Check in all daily supplies and put away accordingly
• Assist OR staff with instrument locations and transport
• Prepare supply orders for surgical buyers
• Flush eyewash stations and maintain logs
