Job summary

USPI New Mexico Surgery Center - Orthopaedics is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for all surgical instruments and to prepare supplies for surgery cases. This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, infection control, and teamwork within a surgical setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–2 years in sterile processing, with a Sterile Process Certification preferred. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.
