Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to coordinate surgical schedules, ensure sterility of instruments, and sterilize endoscopy equipment across perioperative areas. You will handle instrument prep, safety checks and inventory, enabling smooth operations in a high-demand setting.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and readiness to work a night shift from 10:30pm to 7:00am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fundamental knowledge of environmental sterility and safety.
• Familiarity with endoscopy equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, clean, orderly work environment.
• Performs, documents and monitors quality control tools.
• Receives and inventories departmental supplies, instrumentation and equipment.
• Prepares instrumentation and equipment for high-level disinfection and sterilization.
• Operates departmental equipment safely and effectively.
• Scans instrumentation and assembles according to procedures.
• Provides technical support and assists in selecting instruments for Endoscopy Procedures.
