Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a CSP Endo Tech to support daily surgical scheduling and sterilization across perioperative areas. You will ensure instruments are sterile, ready for use, and maintained to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes instrument processing, decontamination, and high-level disinfection for endoscopy devices, with shift hours from Monday through Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm. Prior sterile processing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess prior Sterile Processing experience or be currently enrolled in, or have completed, a Sterile Processing program that includes clinical rotations/clinical experience.
• Prior hands-on experience in instrument processing, decontamination, and sterilization is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work environment in a safe, clean, orderly manner.
• Performs, documents and monitors all quality control tools.
• Receives and inventories departmental supplies, instrumentation and equipment.
• Prepares instrumentation and equipment according to recommended procedures and techniques in preparation for high-level disinfection and sterilization to support all perioperative areas and clinics.
• Operates all departmental equipment safely and effectively.
• Scans instrumentation and assembles, according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
• Provides technical support and assists in selecting instruments and equipment for Endoscopy Procedures for all Perioperative areas.
