Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates steam and low temperature sterilizers and reports issues.
• Performs manual/auto decontamination of instruments.
• Inspects instruments for cleanliness and function.
• Assembles instruments into containers per count sheets.
• Packages instruments per manufacturer instructions.
• Performs sterilization verification and maintains documentation.
• Stores sterile containers and assembles case carts for OR use.
• Participates in surge plan and weekend call.
• Maintains safety and prevents spread of contaminants.
