Job summary

Qualifications

• Nine (9) months of experience in processing or inventorying medical surgical supplies.
• No licensure or certification required.
• None required for education as long as other qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Assemble baskets of instruments and supplies and prepare for sterilization.
• Assemble sets of supplies used in clinical settings and verify cleanliness and functionality.
• Decontaminate and disinfect supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Distribute instruments, equipment and supplies to their proper locations.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain adequate supplies and equipment.
• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and report major repairs.
