Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Tech II for the Central and Sterile Processing Department in the Maryland area. The role supports aseptic processing, equipment sterilization, and inventory control while working a daytime shift on weekends.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in sterile processing (preferred), CRCST certification, and BLS certification (preferred). Position is non-exempt and part-time with a 16‑hour work week.

• Certification from an accredited organization (CRCST strongly preferred).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification preferred.

As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will:

• Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes and stores procedure trays instruments, equipment and supplies according to prescribed procedures and aseptic techniques under direct supervision
• Completes requests to dispense equipment and supplies and assists in maintaining and processing patient charge records and maintaining department inventory

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred
• Certification from an accredited organization
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) Strongly preferred
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred

Pay Range:

$20.07 - $26.42 If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
