Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in sterile processing or a related role.
• Certification/registration options include CBSPD, CRCST, CSPDT, or CST.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange rooms with instruments, equipment, trays and supplies as needed.
• Clean instruments and equipment using approved detergents and disinfectants; operate sterilization equipment per guidelines.
• Manage inventory by ordering, replenishing and distributing instruments and reusable equipment.
• Follow safety, environmental and infection control rules to protect patient care and staff.
• Share knowledge, provide in-service training, and mentor Sterile Processing staff.
