Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX seeks a Sterile Processing Technician II for full-time Evening shifts (2:30pm - 11pm). You will clean, sterilize, and distribute patient equipment and may mentor junior staff.

A strong background in sterile processing and infection control is required. Responsibilities include room preparation, instrument handling, inventory management, and adherence to safety and infection-control guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• Certification options: CBSPD, CRCST, CSPDT, or CST must be held or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and arrange rooms with instruments and supplies.
• Clean and sterilize instruments using approved methods.
• Manage inventory of instruments and reusable equipment.
• Follow safety, infection control, and environmental protocols.
• Mentor and train Sterile Processing staff as needed.
